Lauren Young serves as the Communications & Engagement Coordinator at The Forest at Duke, where responsibilities include writing and editing marketing copy, developing promotional materials, and enhancing communication strategies. Previously, Lauren held positions such as Digital Marketing Specialist at The Forest at Duke and Publications Coordinator at Durham County Library, focusing on digital marketing, content creation, and publication management. Lauren's earlier experience includes supervising the Life Book Unit at Hamilton County Job and Family Services and working as a Corporate Proposal Writer at Sterling Medical Corporation. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and German from Salem College and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication & Leadership at Gonzaga University, with a focus on Strategic & Organizational Communication.
