Job description

The Fountain Insurance Agency is searching for an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team.  We have been providing insurance coverage to the communities we serve since 1952.  Fountain Insurance is an independent agency that works with several insurance companies which allows us to provide our clients with multiple options.  This is a full-time position located at our office in Attica, IN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers enthusiastically and professionally in person and over the phone

  • Build long standing relationships with clients

  • Develop a core understanding of all products and services offered by the companies

  • Schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services

  • Understand, comply & fulfill policy requirements

  • Service existing customer base by conducting regular insurance reviews

  • Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction

  • Learn multiple computer software/systems

  • Remain current on continuing education courses

  • Attend educational seminars and training programs as needed

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Must be licensed or willing to get licensed to sell insurance.
  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred. Related experience and equivalent education may also be accepted.
  • Prior insurance and sales experience are preferred.
  • Compensation will vary depending on education and experience.
