Chenyue Ren is currently a PhD student at The Francis Crick Institute, beginning in September 2024. Previously, Chenyue served as a Research Technician and Postgraduate Researcher at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour from September 2022 to August 2024, focusing on the amygdala and hippocampus in social recognition and memory in John O’Keefe’s Lab. Additional experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant for a Neuroinformatics course at UCL, as well as internships at IQVIA, Pfizer, Demiurge Technologies AG, and Beijing Normal University, where Chenyue conducted research on various neuroscience topics. Chenyue's education comprises a PhD in Neuroscience at UCL (2024-2028), a Bridging Programme in Mathematics and Machine Learning at the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit (2023), an MSci in Neuroscience from UCL (2019-2023), and participation in a summer school on Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Oxford (2017).
