David Sharp

David Sharp is a PhD researcher at The Francis Crick Institute, specializing in Chemical Biology, while also serving as an Undergraduate Practical Lab Demonstrator at Imperial College London. Prior experience includes a role at GlaxoSmithKline in the Protein Degradation DPU, where responsibilities encompassed an immuno-oncology discovery project, involving design and assay development. David has held leadership positions such as Chair of the Bath University Natural Sciences Society and has contributed to research projects at Swansea University, focusing on chemical dye degradation and various scientific techniques. An academic background includes a Master of Research in Drug Discovery & Development from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Bath.
