Hema Nagaraj

HEMA NAGARAJ is a Senior Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since January 2017, with prior roles as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St George's, University of London. Experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast, and leading projects at AVENTURA ORGANICA, where responsibilities encompassed project management and synthetic chemistry. HEMA has a strong academic background with a PhD in organic chemistry specializing in heterocyclic chemistry from the University of Mysore, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific fields. Expertise includes literature review, molecular synthesis, safety protocols, and supervision of PhD and project students.
