Jae Youn Shim

Jae Youn Shim is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Researcher at JLmedilabs, focusing on early cancer diagnosis through liquid biopsy research. Before entering the industry, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at 서울대학교 (Seoul National University), where they obtained their PhD in Physics. Their academic journey began at Konkuk University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Throughout their career, Jae Youn Shim has been dedicated to research and development in the field of bio-molecule detection using innovative techniques and data analysis tools.
