Martijn Jaspers

Martijn Jaspers is a PhD Researcher at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO since October 2021, focusing on the project titled "Where 'The Translator' meets Translation Studies." Martijn serves as the secretary of the Curriculum Commission for Greek Studies for the 2022-2023 term. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at KU Leuven, where development of an educational website about the alphabet's history and contribution to the online RELICTA database were key responsibilities. Martijn began academic pursuits with a series of degrees from KU Leuven, including an MSc in Language Education, and multiple MAs in Hebrew Language and Literature, Theology and Religious Studies, and Classics. Additional educational experiences encompass studies at institutions such as the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Université de Lille. Prior non-academic roles include customer service positions at Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group and Delhaize Belgium.
