Jamie Barrett-Rodger is a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since May 2015, where responsibilities include leading a team as COVID-19 Pipeline Supervisor to ensure timely test results for patients in NHS Trust hospitals and care homes during the pandemic. In addition, Jamie serves as a COVID-19 Vaccinator for the NHS since December 2020, administering vaccines throughout the crisis. Previously, Jamie worked as a Research Officer at the Medical Research Council from May 2013 to May 2015 and held a voluntary position as an Animal Keeper at Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in 2009, which involved animal husbandry and guiding tours. Jamie holds a Master's degree in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from Writtle University College.
