Hilary Gerstein is an experienced professional in neuroscience education and research, currently serving as the Curriculum Content Lead for Neuroscience & Society at The Franklin Institute since January 2023. Gerstein is also a Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has held various academic roles including Associate Director for Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Neuroscience & Society, and Lecturer in Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Gerstein's background encompasses advocacy and outreach as a Fellow at the Society for Neuroscience and documentary film research for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Gerstein holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University.
