Debora Aranha's work experience includes various roles and positions in different organizations.
From February 2020 to the present, they have been working at The Freedom Fund as the Brazil Senior Program Manager. In this role, they are responsible for developing an intervention strategy to reduce the prevalence of commercial sexual exploitation of children in Brazil. Debora also works with Brazilian organizations to form a coalition for implementing the strategy and engages with prospective philanthropists interested in supporting the project.
From 2011 to February 2020, Aranha worked at Ideário Consultoria as a Consultant. Their responsibilities included monitoring and evaluating NGO projects, planning NGO projects, conducting research and baseline studies, and providing training in project management, monitoring, and evaluation for NGOs. Debora also focused on issues related to human and children's rights, including human trafficking and child commercial sexual exploitation.
In 2012, Aranha served as the Director of Gamedu Tecnologia until June 2019. Debora was responsible for strategic planning, closing deals with clients, and production coordination in the online games division (Joystudios). Debora successfully raised startup funds for the company and secured deals with major clients in Brazil.
From January 2012 to December 2014, Aranha worked as an Eco-business Manager at Modaka Cacau Gourmet.
Aranha was the President of Movimento Contra o Tráfico de Pessoas from December 2011 to June 2013.
From February 2003 to May 2012, Aranha held the position of Program Officer and Project Director at Winrock International Brasil.
In 2000, Aranha was the New Business Director at Grupo Radix. In this role, they managed the online games division (Joystudios), closed deals with clients, handled relationship management, and conducted strategic planning. Additionally, they raised startup funds for the company and secured deals with major clients in Brazil. Their employment at Grupo Radix ended in November 2001.
Debora Aranha earned a BsC (Bachelor of Computer Science) from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from 1993 to 1997.
