Deepika Reddy Allana has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Deepika Reddy began their career as an Intellectual Property Attorney at large multinational law firms from 2000 to 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Fellow in Anti-Human Trafficking at Polaris (formerly Polaris Project) for five months. Deepika Reddy then took a break from their career to focus on being a mom from June 2007 to September 2008.

Deepika joined the Tahirih Justice Center as a Senior Public Policy Attorney from October 2008 to January 2010. Following that, they worked as a Senior Public Policy Associate at the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) from January 2010 to January 2012.

In 2012, Deepika became the Anti-Human Trafficking Team Leader for the U.S. Department of Justice at ICF International. During their tenure, they led a team of consultants, managed a capacity building program for anti-human trafficking NGOs, and oversaw complex training projects until June 2013.

From April 2017 to February 2018, they served as an Anti-Human Trafficking Consultant at Free the Slaves, developing comprehensive human trafficking training materials and curricula.

Currently, Deepika is employed as a Program Manager at The Freedom Fund, starting in March 2018. Deepika Reddy'sresponsibilities include coordinating the Child Labour Free Jaipur partnership and addressing the issue of child labor and trafficking in the Bihar to Jaipur corridor.

Deepika Reddy Allana has a degree in Bachelor of Arts with a field of study in Psychology and a Community Health Certificate from Tufts University. Deepika Reddy also holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Boston University School of Law.
