Janaina Jatobá has worked in various organizations throughout their career. Janaina is currently serving as a Programme Manager at The Freedom Fund since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Founding Associate at www.livre.academy, a collective of independent professionals focused on promoting development and learning opportunities for leaders and their transformative initiatives. From June 2017 to May 2022, they worked as a Council Member at Oxfam Brasil. Janaina'sprevious experience includes working as a Senior Programme and Institutional Development Manager at Laudes Foundation from April 2008 to May 2017 and as a Resource Mobilization Programme Coordinator at Oxfam from an unspecified start date to 2008.

Janaina Jatobá has a diverse education history. Janaina attended Universidade de Pernambuco from 1994 to 1998 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Administração de Empresas. Janaina then pursued a Social Leadership Development Program from 2006 to 2008 at www.proteusinitiative.org/. More recently, from 2015 to 2018, Janaina Jatobá completed a Post-Graduation in Reflective Social Practice with a field of study in Phylosphy in Social Innovation at Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft.
