Rebecca Brooke

Head of External Affairs Publications at The Frick Collection

Rebecca Brooke has been working in the publishing industry for over 25 years. Rebecca started their career as a production manager at Sunset Magazine in 1987 and then became a copy editor at The Magazine Antiques in 1992. In 1995, they began working as a freelance editor and proofreader for various companies, including Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Men’s Journal, International Design, Sunset Magazine, The Museum of Modern Art, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NYU, Disney, DreamWorks, and Harcourt Brace College Textbook Publishers. In 1998, they became the executive assistant to the associate publisher at The New Yorker. Rebecca held that position until 2000 when they left to become the head of external affairs publications at The Frick Collection.

Rebecca Brooke has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of California, Berkeley. Rebecca also has a Master's degree in Journalism/Arts Reporting from Indiana University Bloomington.
