William Reid

William E. Reid possesses extensive experience in special events management, currently serving as Head of Special Events at The Frick Collection since October 2022. Prior to this role, William held various positions at Carnegie Hall from October 2010 to October 2022, including Associate Director of Special Events, where responsibilities encompassed donor cultivation events, marketing coordination, strategic fundraising, and budget management for major gala events. Earlier experiences include PR internships with Strategic Group and Conservators' Center, Inc., as well as a Development and Special Events internship at Washington National Opera, where William contributed to fundraising efforts and event organization. William holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication (Public Relations) and Music Performance (Voice) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 2009.
