David Elliott has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of environmental conservation and sustainability. David currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Future Forest Company since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Commissioner at the London Sustainable Development Commission starting in September 2017. David has also held board trustee positions at various organizations such as Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, The Shark Trust, African Conservation Foundation, and International Tree Foundation. David's previous leadership roles include being the Chief Executive Officer of Trees for Cities from January 2016 to January 2023 and the Head of Region (Asia, Latin America & Egypt) at The Brooke from January 2012 to December 2015. Before that, they founded and served as the Director of Cross Frontiers. Overall, David has demonstrated their dedication and expertise in driving environmental initiatives and leading organizations in the field of conservation and sustainability.
David Elliott received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2000. David then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2009. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Politics and International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2017.
