Thijs Huijbers

Thijs Huijbers has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Thijs is currently working as an Architect, Consultant, and Developer in Integration Technology & Services at The Future Group since February 2021. Prior to this, Thijs worked at Planon for nearly 10 years, starting as a TMS Consultant in September 2011 and later transitioning to the role of Solution Architect until February 2021. Thijs also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Fundament IT from January 2017 to December 2020, where they offered ERP system solutions for small businesses. Thijs has extensive experience in Identity & Access Management, working as a Consultant in this field at Traxion and Sociale Verzekeringsbank. Thijs has also worked as a Java Developer and Technical Specialist in various companies such as Koninklijke Bibliotheek, SNS Bank, BDO CampsObers, and NXP.

Thijs Huijbers completed their education in Computer Science. Thijs first attended Technisch College Ede from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Technische Informatica). Afterwards, they pursued further education at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 2000 to 2004, where they received their second Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Hogere Informatica).

In addition to their formal education, Thijs Huijbers has obtained several certifications. Thijs became an Oracle Certified Associate OCA, Java SE 8 Programmer in May 2019, and earlier achieved the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification in December 2014. Thijs also holds The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) 9 Foundation certification, completed in September 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications such as MCSE 2003 from Microsoft and Novell Certified Linux Engineer 10 from Novell, although the specific dates for obtaining these certifications are not provided.
