Head Of Operations at The Gallowglass Group

Ostadar Diez has a diverse work experience in the events industry, beginning in 2002 with Syntorama as a Tour Production Manager. In 2006, Ostadar joined The Gallowglass Group, starting as a Crew member and quickly progressing to become a Crew Chief and then a Senior Crew Chief. During their time at Gallowglass, Ostadar also took on the role of Olympic Project Manager, overseeing manpower for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In 2012, Ostadar became the Regional Manager in Barcelona, tripling the work volume over the course of three years. Ostadar's final role at The Gallowglass Group was as the Head of Operations, managing operations across various locations in Europe and further establishing the company's presence in international sporting events. Ostadar also worked as a Freelancer, serving as a Set Designer and Builder, as well as a Production Manager from 2007 to 2011.

Ostadar Diez attended IES Plaiaundi from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a CFGS degree in Network Administration. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2021, the PRINCE 2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2020, and the PRINCE 2 foundation from the same institution in June 2020. Ostadar also holds a NEBOSH International Certificate from IOSH, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
