Sarah Thompson

Sarah Thompson has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Sarah is currently the Head of Finance at The Gap Partnership, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP Finance at Warner Bros. Discovery, leading the finance team supporting Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and overseeing significant capital projects. Sarah also had a successful tenure at Warner Bros. Entertainment, where they held roles as VP Finance and Finance Director for Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, overseeing the integration of a multi-site retailer acquisition and expanding the finance team. Before that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at NPW, where they had full P&L and cashflow responsibility, and implemented an FX hedging program. Sarah's earlier experience includes finance and HR leadership positions at LeapFrog and The Walt Disney Company, as well as an ACA trainee and Transaction Support Manager at EY.

Sarah Thompson obtained a Master's degree in Leadership and Management from Hult Ashridge between 2019 and 2022. Sarah also earned a degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from Hult Ashridge in 2011. Prior to that, they studied Mathematics with Management Studies (European) at the University of Leeds from 1993 to 1997. Sarah attended Bolton School from 1982 to 1997, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Sarah also holds the ACA (Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
