Mark Williamson

VP, Strategic Engagement at The Garrett Group

Mark is Vice President of Strategic Engagement for The Garrett Group. In this position, he is responsible for business development and customer relations.  After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, he held several flying assignments serving in positions from instructor to evaluator in both the RC-135 Rivet Joint and RQ-4 Global Hawk. He also commanded at multiple senior levels to include squadron and group command, Team Chief on the National Airborne Operations Center, and Vice Commander of the 55th Wing at Offutt AFB, NE. As the Vice Wing Commander, he was responsible for organizing, training, and equipping six groups and 32 squadrons executing worldwide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; electronic attack; command and control; presidential support; and treaty verification missions. He was also responsible for base support to more than 50 associate units, including U.S. Strategic Command, 557th Weather Wing, and more than 57,000 active-duty members, civilians, family members and retirees in the Offutt area. Mark is a command pilot with over 4,500 flying hours and is a graduate of the Joint Advanced Warfighting School.
