Tom Stone

Tom Stone is an experienced Electrical Engineer and Control Engineer with a strong background in military and maritime electrical systems. At Gibbs & Cox, Inc., Tom collaborates with NAVSEA to install and study generator control systems on the USCGC POLAR STAR. In a role at The GBS Group, Tom successfully installed integrated bridge systems on multiple USNS vessels. Tom's extensive tenure with the U.S. Coast Guard includes positions as an Electrician, Senior Electrician, and Instructor, where responsibilities encompassed project management, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on various vessels, as well as instruction on engineering control systems. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering Technology and an Associate of Science in Industrial Electronics Technology from Excelsior University.
