Mamoun Younes

Mamoun Younes is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in pathology. Currently serving as a Professor and Vice Chair at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences since June 2020, Mamoun Younes also holds the position of Director of Surgical Pathology at The George Washington University Hospital. Previous roles include Interim Co-Chair and Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from October 2011 to June 2020, and Professor at Baylor College of Medicine from July 1992 to October 2011. Mamoun Younes has specialized in gastrointestinal pathology, cancer research, and inflammatory bowel disease research, contributing to quality assurance and translational research.
