Angelena Bougiamas

Angelena Bougiamas is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in journalism, project management, and research. Currently serving as a Contributing Editor for The Georgetown Voice since January 2023, Angelena has produced a variety of articles focused on campus life and local news. Previously, various roles at NBCUniversal as an Editorial and Production Intern involved fact-checking and research during significant political events. Angelena also led projects at DCivitas Consulting, managing a team to secure funding for nonprofit initiatives while refining editorial processes as Managing Editor for Bossier Magazine. Other experiences include interning for Congresswoman Grace Meng's district office, contributing to fundraising initiatives for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and conducting research for FreeCap Financial, Inc. Angelena is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy at Georgetown University, building upon a solid educational foundation from the Bronx High School of Science.
