Kitty Bu is an experienced professional in the fields of energy, climate, and communications, currently serving as the Vice President for Asia ex-India at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet since June 2023. Prior to this role, Kitty held significant positions at Impossible Foods as the Asia Chief Representative and Head of Engagement for China from November 2020 to January 2023. Kitty also contributed to the European Climate Foundation from October 2018 to November 2020 as the Global Renewable Energy Lead and Asia Finance Lead. Earlier in the career, Kitty was a founding member and served as the Director of Marketing, Communications and Partnerships for the China Program at Rocky Mountain Institute from November 2014 to October 2018. Kitty's career in media began as an On-Camera Television Reporter at Reuters News from April 2005 to February 2010.
