Brian Kettenring

Brian Kettenring is a seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience in economic initiatives and social equity. Currently serving as Co-President at The Global Fund for a New Economy since April 2024, Kettenring previously held the role of Senior Fellow and Director of the Economy and Society Initiative at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation from April 2021 to April 2024, focusing on efforts to transform neoliberal economic paradigms. Previous positions include Co-Director at the Center for Popular Democracy (2014 - April 2021), Executive Director at the Leadership Center for the Common Good (2010 - 2013), and Deputy Director of National Operations at ACORN (1995 - 2009). Kettenring holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carleton College, obtained in 1994.
