David Ennis is an experienced leader in international development and humanitarian affairs, currently serving as Head of the CCM Hub at The Global Fund since October 2018. Ennis manages relationships with 117 Country Coordination Governance mechanisms globally and oversees a $15 million transformation project across 93 countries. Previous roles include Senior Country Manager for Anglophone Africa at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and Senior Humanitarian Counsellor at the Department for International Development (DFID), where Ennis led UK interactions with UN agencies on humanitarian issues. With extensive experience in operations, strategy, and programme management across various governmental and non-governmental organizations, Ennis holds multiple master's degrees in Global Health, Development Management, and English Language and Literature from prestigious institutions, including The University of Manchester and the University of Glasgow.
