Freide César currently serves as the Mozambique Global Fund CCM Executive Secretary at The Global Fund since January 2021, overseeing grant management and funding applications for national health initiatives. As an Oversight Specialist at Centro de Estudos Africanos - UEM since September 2009, Freide César has contributed significantly to various research and evaluation projects. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at University of California San Francisco - Global Programs from September 2017 to August 2022 and M&E and Surveillance Specialist at i-tech Mozambique from September 2011 to September 2017. Freide César has developed and evaluated multiple Monitoring and Evaluation Systems for HIV prevention and treatment programs, authored reports for the Ministry of Health and PEPFAR, and holds a Licentiate degree in Demography and Population Studies from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane. A professional training in Monitoring & Evaluation was completed at the University of California, San Francisco in 2018.
