The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
Mark Eldon-Edington is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in global program management and grant oversight. Currently serving as the Head of the Grant Management Division at The Global Fund since May 2011, Mark is responsible for managing investments in HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and TB across 140 countries. Previously, Mark held the position of International Programme Director at Save the Children International, where responsibilities included designing policies and systems for the International Programme Unit to serve children in 90 countries. Additionally, Mark worked as the Global Field Programs Chief Advisor and Vice President of International Program Management at the International Save the Children Alliance, managing substantial budgets and teams to deliver impactful programs. Mark began a professional career at Coopers & Lybrand as a Supervisor and holds a BA in German with Italian from the University of London.
