Amanda Hildebrand

Amanda Hildebrand serves as the Vice President of Science and Technology at The Good Food Institute, leading efforts to accelerate alternative protein research and commercialization. Previous roles include Vice President of Fermentation at ExoPolymer, where Amanda directed the development of sustainable biopolymers, and Director of Fermentation R&D at Willow Biosciences Inc, focusing on sustainable small molecules for various applications. Amanda's extensive experience spans several positions, including Associate Director of Fermentation at DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences and microbial physiology projects at Genencor. Amanda's academic background includes a PhD in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
