Curt contributes to creating a better future of food by inspiring and growing our policy team.

Prior to joining GFI, Curt advocated for better policies relating to biodiversity, climate change, and public lands at Defenders of Wildlife. He previously served as the Policy Director for the Alabama Rivers Alliance where he worked with decision-makers, stakeholders, and landowners to safeguard ecosystems in the Southeast. Curt holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School where he served as a board member of the Environmental Law Society and an editor of his law journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Emory University.
