Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. From November 2021 to the present, they have been serving as the Associate Vice President of Engineering at The Good Glamm Group, where they lead software engineering, mentors software engineers, and contributes to open-source projects.

Prior to their current position, Amit worked at Penske Media Corporation from February 2011 to October 2021 as a Lead Software Engineer. During this time, they collaborated with stakeholders to implement software engineering initiatives and developer tooling for Rolling Stone and other PMC brands. Amit also developed software features to enhance editorial workflow and improve the viewer experience for a large audience.

In 2010, Amit worked as a Team Lead in Software Development at HyperQuality India Pvt. Ltd. Amit led a team in improving the company's first-generation software for quality auditing of contact centers, focusing on security, stability, and performance optimization.

From 2005 to 2009, they served as a Tech Lead in Software Engineering at Jaya Corporation, and from 2004 to 2005, they were a Team Lead in Software Engineering at Technocom, where they led a team in developing tailored web and desktop applications.

Additionally, Amit owned and served as the Lead Developer at 23Miles Technologies from July 2002 to July 2004.

Amit Gupta pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1994 to 2001, they attended Ramjas School, Pusa Road, New Delhi, where they completed their Senior Secondary education. Following this, they enrolled at Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok, from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Finally, from 2012 to 2016, Amit pursued further studies at the University of London, earning a Master of Science degree in Information Security.
