Julie Fisher

Julie Fisher has a diverse work experience that spans a range of roles and responsibilities. Julie'smost recent position was as the Director of Engagement at The Good People Fund starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at The Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel, including Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2021-2023. Julie also founded the Consortium for Israel and the Asylum Seekers in 2018, an organization dedicated to aiding African asylum seekers in Israel. Julie has also served as an Advisory Board Member and Development Committee member for Kuchinate African Women's Collective and Pesia's Kitchen/EAT, respectively. Julie's work also includes educational consulting and training, such as their role as an Educational Consultant at Making Social Media Work and the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. Additionally, they have served as the President of DSPI (Diplomatic Spouses and Partners of Israel) and as the Spouse of the United States Ambassador to Israel, representing the interests of the United States and organizing events and programs to promote shared values. Overall, Julie Fisher has extensive experience in leadership, engagement, and international relations.

Julie Fisher has a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a focus on Curriculum Development, from Wheelock College. Julie also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a focus on Education, from Brandeis University. In addition, they have obtained a Massachusetts Teaching Certification for Elementary School, from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
