Alan Kantrow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and governance roles. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at The Governance Laboratory since 2016 and as Managing Partner at Alan Kantrow LLC since 2007, Kantrow has a rich history that includes positions as Chief Learning and Communications Officer at The Governance Lab from 2014 to 2016, a Visiting Scholar at the Sloan School of Management in 2011, and Professor of Management at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO from 2007 to 2010. Previous roles also include Senior Partner and Chief Knowledge Officer at Monitor Group from 1995 to 2007, Partner and Editor of McKinsey Quarterly at McKinsey & Company from 1987 to 1995, and Senior Editor at Harvard Business Review from 1979 to 1987. Alan Kantrow holds a PhD in the history of American civilization and an AB in anthropology, both from Harvard University.
