Dane Gambrell is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Research Fellow at The Burnes Center for Social Change since April 2022 and at The Governance Lab since January 2020, where roles have also included Associate Fellow and Research Assistant. Prior experience includes a Student Scholar Intern position at the American Geographical Society, focusing on content creation related to maps, environmental conservation, and geography, as well as a Student GIS Consultant role at NYU Data Services, providing geospatial analysis support. Dane's early career includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Governance Lab and NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Dane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Urban Environments from New York University, completed in 2019.
