Eric Rightor

Eric Rightor has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the youth camp industry. Eric served as the Executive Director at The Granite YMCA since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager of Overnight Camps at Avid4 Adventure from 2016 to 2022, where they oversaw program design, operational efficiency, and marketing for the overnight camp programs. Eric also worked as the Executive Director at Camp Bauercrest from 2013 to 2016, where they managed the organization's overall success and was responsible for strategic planning, fundraising, and program development. Eric has also held several positions within the YMCA, including Senior Program Director of Youth Resident Camps and Director of Youth Development. Eric has further experience as an Assistant Aquatics Director, Counselor-In-Training Director, and Executive Intern at various organizations.

Eric Rightor attended American University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Eric'sfield of study included Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government, as well as Applied Physics. In addition to their academic achievements, Eric also holds certifications as an American Red Cross Lifeguard and a Wilderness First Responder, which they obtained from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
