Liaison Committee Chairman at The Green Grid Association

Jay Taylor is a Data Center and Energy Storage Strategist with extensive experience in government affairs, standards development, and energy efficiency. Currently serving as Vice President of Government Affairs at Delta Energy & Communications, Inc., Jay has facilitated funding acquisition from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill while organizing sales efforts across various U.S. states and territories. As Liaison Committee Chairman at The Green Grid Association since 2009, Jay promotes energy efficiency within the ICT ecosystem. Formerly, as Chairman of the Standards Committee for Sustainability of Data Centres and IT at JTC1 (ISO/IEC), Jay led initiatives to establish key performance indicators for resource management. Additional roles include Director of Global Standards at Schneider Electric, where strategic digital transformation plans for data centers were proposed, and Senior Engineer Global Strategist at Dell, achieving significant energy cost reductions. Jay's education includes a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and ISO Leadership Training.
