Andrew Noakes

Andrew Noakes is an accomplished professional in automotive journalism with extensive experience. Currently serving as Editor and Project Manager at Porter Press International since January 2024, Andrew focuses on editing motoring books and overseeing book production projects. As an Assistant Professor in Automotive Journalism at Coventry University since September 2006, Andrew directs the unique Masters program and teaches various modules with high student satisfaction. Andrew has held significant roles, including Chairman of the Midland Group of Motoring Writers since 2012 and Committee Member with The Guild of Motoring Writers since May 2011, where past positions include Chairman and Deputy Chairman. Andrew's early career includes editorial roles at Highbury-SPL and freelance writing for various automotive publications, alongside a foundational experience at Ford Motor Company. Andrew holds a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University.
