Maudi Oerlemans

Maudi Oerlemans is the founder of De Happy Fit Challenge, which utilizes sports to connect individuals, particularly through accessible movement classes for seniors and social activities. In current roles as Event & Community Manager for ZonMw and The Hague Tech, as well as Community & Event Manager for Sportbedrijf Rotterdam, Maudi manages various community initiatives and events. Maudi also serves as Chief Happiness Officer and Event Manager for Jongens van Techniek and is the founder of ROTMAT, which develops unique, sustainable sports mats inspired by the city. With extensive experience in community building and event organization, Maudi has previously worked as a Municipal Specialist for the Gemeente Rotterdam. Academic qualifications include MSc degrees in Forensic Criminology and Criminology from Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, respectively.
