Daniel Wilde

Daniel Wilde has a strong background in finance and accounting. Daniel started their career as a Finance Manager at Border Environmental Services Ltd, where they managed the company's finance function and provided financial information and reports to the directors. Daniel then moved on to work as a Chartered Accountant at Saint & Co, where they provided accounts, tax, and audit services to various clients. Daniel later joined The HALO Trust as a Regional Finance Manager, supporting finance and operations teams in Southern Africa and South East Asia. Currently, they serve as the Head of Corporate Finance at The HALO Trust, leading the central finance team and developing processes and controls to meet the organization's needs. Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated professionalism and a strong commitment to providing high-quality financial services.

Daniel Wilde's education history is as follows:

Daniel started their education at Dumfries High School from the year 2000 to 2006. During this time, they studied subjects such as Business Management, Accounting, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography. Daniel did not obtain a specific degree during this period.

After completing high school, Daniel pursued further education at Dumfries and Galloway College. From 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Higher National Certificate (SQA) in Accounting. Daniel then continued their studies at the same college and obtained a Higher National Diploma (SQA) in Accounting from 2016 to 2017.

After college, Daniel enrolled in ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) from 2017 to 2020. Here, they pursued the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) degree in Accounting and Finance.

In terms of additional certifications, Daniel obtained various certifications throughout their educational journey. In 2014, they obtained the A+ 2012 certification from the Pitman Training Group Ltd. In 2014, they also obtained the Network+ 2012 certification from the same institution. In 2015, they obtained a Diploma - IT Technician Plus from the Pitman Training Group Ltd. Moving forward, Daniel obtained the HNC Accounting, Grade A certification from SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) in July 2016. Subsequently, in July 2017, they obtained the HND Accounting, Grade A certification from the same institution.

In February 2021, Daniel acquired the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) certification from ICAEW, and the Business Finance Professional (BFP) certification from the same institution. Additionally, in October 2019, they obtained the Xero Certified Adviser certification from Xero.
