Lorraine Hare

Lorraine Hare currently serves as the Director of Global Philanthropy at The HALO Trust since November 2025. Prior to this role, Lorraine held various leadership positions at the British Red Cross, including Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy Development, Interim Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy, Head of Philanthropy - Transformational Giving, and Head of Stewardship and Operations - Philanthropy and Partnerships from May 2022 to October 2025. Lorraine was also the Deputy Director of Development and Head of Development college roles at the University of Oxford from August 2019 to May 2022, and Director of Development for the UNM Cancer Center at The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc. from September 2018 to August 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Cornell University, Dogs Trust, South Lanarkshire Council, and DC Thomson. Lorraine holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Glasgow.
