Peter Woods currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Learning Sciences at the University of Nottingham, focusing on the role of creativity in learning influenced by technology and cultural contexts. With a background as a Research Scientist at MIT and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Southern California, Peter has explored project-based learning and math teacher education. Previous roles include freelance writing for The Hard Times, teaching mathematics and developing curricula at The Étude Group, and directing summer programs at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Peter holds a PhD in Design, Informal, and Creative Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Master's in Education Policy and Management from Harvard.
