Kathryn Kaiser

Kathryn Kaiser currently serves as the Transitional Head of School at The Harley School, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kathryn was the Interim Head of School at The School at Columbia University from July 2022 to July 2023. Kathryn's extensive experience in education includes nearly two decades at Columbia University in the City of New York, where positions included Primary Division Director and Associate Director of the Child Study Team. Earlier career roles involved working as an Education Director at Riverbed Media, a Staff Developer/Researcher at Reading Rescue, and as a Special Education Teacher at both Starr Academy and The Lab School. Kathryn holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University's SIPA, along with advanced degrees in Communications, Technology and Education, Klingenstein Independent School Leadership, Special Education, and Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
