Milena Novy-Marx is an international development professional and economist with more than 20 years of experience creating strategies and implementing projects in sectors such as international migration, education, and sustainable development. Milena is currently a visiting professor at the University of Rochester. Milena received her Ph.D. in economics and international development, and her M.P.A. in economic policy from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Her undergraduate degree is from Yale University, B.A. summa cum laude, in political science. Milena is currently working for The MasterCard Foundation in Toronto, Canada to advance secondary and tertiary education in Africa.
