Trudy Leidich, MBA, RN has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in quality and safety management. Trudy currently holds the position of Vice President, Clinical Transformation and Quality at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD. Prior to this role, Trudy worked at Texas Children's Hospital for over 15 years, where they served as both Vice President/AVP of Quality & Safety and Director/Assistant Director. During their time at Texas Children's Hospital, Trudy led the transformation of the hospital's quality and safety infrastructure through process improvement, data analysis, and team building. Trudy provided oversight of clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention & control, and quality staff education across three hospitals. Trudy also has previous experience as a Manager in various departments, including NICU, quality management, and performance improvement. Additionally, they have worked as a Staff Nurse in the pediatric emergency room and as a Manager of the Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Team at different hospitals. Trudy began their career in the United States Air Force as a Captain in the Nurse Corps. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving outcomes and results in healthcare settings.

Trudy Leidich, MBA, RN, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from William Carey University (1996). Trudy also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing Science from Kean University (1992). Trudy's education history includes a Diploma in Nursing from Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing (1983) and an Associate of Science (AS) degree from UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ (1983).
