Laura Bongiorno

Laura Bongiorno is a seasoned leader in the employee benefits industry with over three decades of experience. Currently the Vice President of Specialty Market Sales at The Hartford since November 2011, Laura oversees national voluntary benefits, niche market sales, and develops growth strategies. Prior to this role, Laura held various positions at MetLife, including Regional Director and Vice President for the Western Region Institutional Sales, where strategic leadership led to record sales and earnings. Earlier in career history at Unum, Laura managed substantial employee benefit programs and served as Chief of Staff to the president, supporting major acquisitions. Laura holds a BA with a double major in English and Archaeology from Bowdoin College.
