Thomas B. Kuchinic

Thomas B. (Brad) Kuchinic is a seasoned insurance leader with extensive experience in environmental liability underwriting and management. Currently serving as Head of Environmental at The Hartford since May 2019, Kuchinic leads a nationwide team, overseeing P&L responsibilities and delivering solutions to broker partners and insureds. Prior to this role, Kuchinic was President of the Environmental Division at The Navigators Group, Inc., overseeing operations and budgeting for the division, and has held various underwriting and leadership positions within the company from 2008 to 2019. Early career experience includes roles at Liberty International Underwriters, Zurich North America, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, and Winterthur Insurance, among others, with responsibilities spanning casualty underwriting and international program management. Kuchinic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University.
