Athmeya Jayaram is a seasoned researcher with a robust academic background in philosophy and bioethics. Currently serving as a Research Scholar at The Hastings Center since July 2022, Athmeya previously held the position of Hecht-Levi Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University and a Fellow at the University of Oxford, both from September 2021 to July 2022. Athmeya's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Scholar role at the University of California San Diego from 2019 to August 2021, a Lecturer position at Rutgers University in May 2018, and a Research Fellow role at Wesleyan University from January to June 2018.
