Alex Davis

Head of Operations - Q at The Health Foundation

Alex Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2005, they worked as an Area Manager at Swimming Nature. They then progressed to become the Operations Manager at Swim For Tri from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they served as the County Swimming Coordinator at The Amateur Swimming Association from 2009 to 2010. They then transitioned to the role of Sports Development Officer at the London Borough of Newham from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they became the Aquatics Development Manager at activeNewham, a position they held until 2014. They then briefly worked as an Events Officer for the Tour de France at the London Borough of Newham. The bulk of their recent career was spent at the British Heart Foundation, where they held two roles: Prevention Programme Manager and later as the Head of Prevention for the Tesco National Charity Partnership. In these positions, they led teams and oversaw the development and delivery of health promotion campaigns and prevention initiatives. In 2018, they joined The College of Podiatry as the Strategic Interventions in Health Education Disciplines (SIHED) Programme Manager, where they collaborated with various stakeholders to enhance awareness and demand for allied health professions through digital marketing campaigns. Currently, Alex Davis is working at The Health Foundation as the Head of Operations for their Q initiative.

Alex Davis obtained a Bachelor's degree in European History from King's College London, starting in 2000 and finishing in 2003. In addition to their degree, Alex also obtained two certifications, PRINCE 2 Practitioner and PRINCE 2 Foundation, from APMG International. They obtained the PRINCE 2 Foundation certification in December 2015 and the PRINCE 2 Practitioner certification in January 2016.
