Chuma Gondwe

Chuma Gondwe's work experience includes various roles in research, project management, and youth engagement.

Chuma started working at The Health Foundation in 2021, first as an Assistant Research Officer, where they supported contract management and the delivery of research grants and projects. They then transitioned to the role of Research Officer, where they assisted in designing and managing research programs and grants.

In 2021, Chuma also worked briefly at Impatience Earth as a Research & Insight (Climate) staff member.

Before joining The Health Foundation, Chuma worked at Tearfund from 2018 to 2021. They initially served as the Youth & Emerging Generation Representative, responsible for developing relationships and implementing strategies to engage young adults in responding to poverty. Later, Chuma became a Project Manager, overseeing various projects.

Prior to these roles, Chuma worked at Chasing Zero as an MTV Chasing Zero Student Ambassador while studying at Cardiff University. They founded the Chasing Zero Society, organized awareness and fundraising events, and collaborated with other campus societies.

Overall, Chuma Gondwe has gained experience in research, project management, youth engagement, and advocacy throughout their career.

Chuma Gondwe pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography (Human) from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, Chuma attended Bishop Vaughan Sixth Form from 2013 to 2015 to complete A Levels, without specifying a field of study.
