Graeme Hood has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Graeme started their career as a Pre-registration Pharmacist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2009 and later became a Resident Pharmacist and Specialist Oncology Pharmacist. Graeme then worked as a Lead Pharmacist at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, specializing in ADU and Oncology. After that, they joined the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Pharmacist, focusing on Oncology, Chemotherapy, and Electronic Prescribing. Graeme also served as the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer's Clinical Fellow at Public Health England and later worked as a Pharmacy Programme Manager for Specialised Commissioning at NHS England. Graeme is currently the Regional Pharmacy Lead for Vaccination Programmes and Winter Preparedness at NHS England. In addition to these roles, Graeme has also been a Medicines and Prescribing Associate at NICE, a Member of the Q Community at The Health Foundation, and a Mentor at One Million Mentors.
Graeme Hood completed their education with a Diploma in General Pharmaceutical Practice from King's College London in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an MPharm degree from the University of Bath in 2009.
