Sam Atwell

Sam Atwell is a dedicated policy and research manager currently working at The Health Foundation since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sam served as a trustee at Big Futures Foundation, which supports disadvantaged children, from December 2016 to September 2023. Notable experience includes a position as a senior policy advisor at Action for Children, leading policy and research activities and engaging with key government reviews from June 2021 to August 2023. Sam has also held the role of head of operations at the Institute for the Future of Work and was a teaching fellow in economics at Harvard University, recognized for excellence in teaching. Educational qualifications include a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
